Detailed description:

Our holiday house is at the outskirts of Bad Schandau in the Wendischfaehre quarter of Rathmannsdorf. It is close to the riverside of the Elbe beneath the bike-course along the Elbe. You will enjoy a direct view onto the river and the passing ships. Elblandhaus with 500 square feet space serves for lodging for 2 up to 4 persons (2 more beddings are possible). On the ground floor you will find a large kitchen with a nice table to sit at, eat and watch the river. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, stove, vacuum system for the cooking steam, oven, refrigerator with froster. Furtheron you have the bathroom with douche and tub, the WC is right beneath in a separated room. By a wooden stairway you enter the first floor. There you have the sleeping-room with double bed and a sunny living-room with sofas to sit and to sleep on, satellite-TV and a stove. Two more sleeping-rooms are in the loft.

Take a deep breath and relax watching that lovely countryside formed by those magical and tall grown mountains of sandstone and romantic dales. The national park with it's unique fauna and flora means pure nature. Here you can take your time to enjoy your holidays and forget about that all day life. Meet the fun outside in nature for the day and relax in the lovely atmosphere of our holiday house.

How to find us...
Approaching on highway A 4, you take the exit "Dresden West" onto the highway A 17 heading to Pirna. Then, at the traffic litghts in Pirna city, take the national route B 172 into direction Bad Schandau, passing through Pirna and Konigstein until you cross the river Elbe. Immediately after the bridge you turn right trough underneath the bridge into direction Hohnstein. Just make another 250 yards, then, before the yellow place-name sign of Rathmannsdorf, you take the last possible way up the hill to our house. Please look as well for the sign of "Landhaus Doris".
