Tourist center „Marko“ is situated about 10 km north from central area of National Park Plitvice Lakes, on the road D1, in the village Oštarski Stanovi. This quite place, full of beautiful landscapes in preserved nature, offers various possibilities for recreation, entertainment and rest.

Restaurant itself offers many different of dishes varying from ready-made dishes, cold side dishes, soups, hot side dishes, house specialities, game, dishes to order, fish, meat on spike and under a baking lid (lamb, veal, potatoes…), salads, pizza, lasagne and desserts (cakes, pancakes, ice cream…), all of them served in pleasant atmosphere on the terrace with 56 seats or air conditioned interior with 66 seats.
One can take some rest in our rooms within restaurant (4 double and 2 triple rooms) or in recently built boarding house „Domagoj“ (5 triple, 4 double rooms and 1 room with seven beds) or in the small house next to the restaurant (1 triple and 1 double room). All the rooms have got a bathroom with shower and satellite TV. Also we have wireless Internet and guests can use them for free.
The object also offers various recreation possibilities such us open swimming pool, clay tennis court, cycling and walking tracks, bicycle lease, playground and horse riding for children and big parking place.

You can visit in this zone Plitvice Lakes, Barac's caves about 10 km from our place, Rastoke in small city Slunj about 20 km from our place, also about 8 km from us is walking track „The Old Town Trail“.

How to find us:

From Zagreb drive in direction of Karlovac and then in Karlovac get out from the highway and than drive in direction of Plitvice Lakes ('Plitvicka Jezera'). After Karlovac about 50 km is small city Slunj and after 20 km on the left side of the main road is TC Marko.
The TC Marko is on the left side of the main road about 10 km before the lakes.
The place is called Ostarski Stanovi.
There are billboards on the road for the place and for the tourist centre.
