With about 50 m2 habitable surface, our stone holiday house (on a level), Casa Azul - offers enough space for 2 persons to spend relaxing holidays. The holiday house is situated on our 4500 m2 landed estate, giving you from the covered terrace a wonderful view directly to the sea.

Detailed description:

The house disposes of a master bedroom, a comfortable living room with a sofa bed, providing an accomodation for 1 more person. A stereo equipment as well as a little library are in the living room. You can borrow CDs from our collection (about 400 CDs – classic, opera, rock and pop). The bathroom is equipped with bathtub and bidet, the kitchen with electric cooker and dishwasher. The eating corner is situated in the kitchen. Of course, the kitchen is completely equipped with toaster, coffee machine, water boiler and everything needed.
On the covered terrace there is a table for 4 persons, where you can enjoy breakfast or diner whilst contemplating the sea and listening to the roaring of the waves.
On the grass complex, which is at your disposal, you can have a barbecue or just enjoy the sun in one of the lounge chairs.
Bed linen, bath and hand towels are naturally included. We offer you a welcome-lunch and a bottle of wine the first evening. You have the possibility to order each morning some fresh bread rolls for a copious breakfast. If you don’t want to cook yourself in the evening or to go to the restaurant, we offer you to diner with us and other guests – after having reserved in advance.
Do you want to go riding, diving or watching the whales - we would be helpful for booking.
Possibility to rent a bicycle, to use the washing machine and the tumble dryer at an extra charge.
The holiday house is under Swiss management, which speaks German, French, English and Portuguese.
Upon request we offer a collection service and follow me to the airport (€ 20).

Description of the area:

It only takes about 20 minutes by car to get to the Batalha Golf Course.

The house is located about 40 minutes from the airport of Ponta Delgada in Ajuda da Bretanha.

There are restaurants and shops in the village, or in Capelas, the next bigger place (approx. 20 minutes by car).


The natural pool of Mosteiros where you can swim in warm water is about 15 minutes by car from here.

How to find us:

From the airport, please follow the direction to « Relva ».
As soon as you see the direction-indicator « Capelas » - take the direction « Capelas ».
When the indicator « Mosteiros » appears, hold the direction « Mosteiros » (this will be after around
20 minutes driving in direction of «Capelas«).
Then you pass through «Capelas» and hold towards «Mosteiros».
When you reach «Ajuda», just after the speed bump, take the road down to your right («Ramal da Igreja»).
Before you reach the church, take the road to your left and drive all the way down through to the house number 100 (on the left).
