The apartment is on the upper floor of a two-family house. It has been awarded 4* by the German Tourist Board (based on their latest guidelines). The owner lives on the ground floor. The cosy atmosphere in a lovingly furnished environment makes this apartment really special.

Rustic kitchen (new and fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, etc.). Double bedroom, living room with sofa bed (for max. 2 additional guests), lovely bathroom and separate WC. Spacious hall with mirror, coat and shoe racks and telephone.

2 balconies (South and West-B.), Radio, CD/MP3-Player, Sat-TV and parking spot, just to name a few of the amenities at your disposal. You can also have bread rolls delivered every morning if you wish. Bike and toboggan rental can also be organised. The Sauna can be used for a small fee.

Description of the area:

Our house NORI is situated 800 meters above sea level in a wonderful and sunny location just above Berchtesgaden, in the district of Oberau / Skizentrum Rossfeld. We are only about 10 minutes by car away from the old historical centre of Berchtesgaden which is over 900 years old. You can reach the cultural highlights of Salzburg in only 25 minutes (by car). There are plenty of other interesting excursions you can take in the area such as the Königssee, Kehlstein / Obersalzberg, Watzmann-Therme, Salt mine with its Spa-Salzheilstollen (lit. salt healing cave). So your leisure time can be filled with plenty of interesting things. For winter sports enthusiasts, there are plenty of ski runs, cross country ski tracks and hiking trails close by. Enjoy the panoramic view over the mountains of Berchtesgaden, from the Hohen Göll in the South East to the Watzmann and the Hochkalter, right through to the Reiteralpe in the West.

Ski: The Berchtesgadener Land offers 4 family-type skiing areas and one for the proficient skier (up to 1800 m). The biggest family type skiing area is Roßfeld / Zinken (800-1550 m) right on your doorstep. The other skiing areas are within easy reach (8-15 km away). On the Austrian side, there are top rated skiing areas such as Skiwelt Amadé, Obertauern, all in an acceptable distance (up to 70 km). There is a wide range of cross country tracks with snow guarantee within easy reach (very close to the house and up to 12 km away). More outdoor activities: the many kilometres of spacious hiking trails (on foot or for snow shoe walking – can be hired - ), toboggan runs and ice skating rinks.



Golf: Germany’s highest golf course (9 holes, unique scenery) is only 5 km away. In a radius of 30 km (on the Bavarian and Austrian side), there are more Golf courses.
