The gite is a recently converted barn tastefully decorated in the colours and styles of Provence. Accommodation consists of entrance hall, large living room with fitted and fully equipped kitchen, one spacious double bedroom, large bathroom, beautiful covered terrace, private patio with BBQ and view onto the Chateau of Ansouis. The gite is adapted for Wheelchair access with private parking at patio level, large doorways and passage, spacious bathroom with level floor shower. Sleeping accommodation – one twin bedded room (clips to give a double bed), fold down bed-settee for 2. Equipment includes cooker, micro-wave, dishwasher and washing machine, Satellite TV, CD player and WLAN/WIFI. Bed linen and towels supplied. On request it is possible to book a second bedroom.

Description of the area:

The area offers ideal environment for walking and hiking in the foothills and mountains of the Luberon. Further a field are the impressive Gorge du Verdon, Fontain de Vaucluse, Mt. St. Victoire and numerous other areas well worth exploring. The Parc Naturel Regional du Luberon has established a 236-km itinerary for the cyclist pleasure. It is completely sigh-posted to guide you along the quiet little roads. Allow you to discover, at your own rhythm, a land which has protected and enhanced an incredibly rich natural and cultural heritage. 5 km from Ansouis you will find the natural lake “ Etang de la Bonde” . Its gentle sloping banks makes it ideal for families with small children as well as older children. A complex of three public swimming pools can be found in the nearby town of Pertuis. For those who prefer to bathe the Mediterranean there are beautiful beaches lying east and west of Marseille some 60 km from Ansouis.
