Unser Ferienhaus liegt in der Nähe einer Burgruine auf einem Hügel. Gegen diesen Hügel schmiegt sich das typisch provenzalische und malerische Dorf Cadenet, Frankreich (3800 Einwohner). Zum Zentrum mit Markt und verschiedenen kleinen Läden ist es fünf Minuten zu Fuß. Aus dem Fenster kann man das ganze Tal übersehen bis zu dem berühmten Berg, den der impressionistische Maler Cezanne malte. Sie brauchen kein Auto um im regionalen Naturpark Luberon spazieren zu gehen. Das Haus liegt nicht in einer Ferienanlage, sondern inmitten freundlicher provenzalischer Dorfbewohner.
