Detailed description:

The house is situated 6 kilometers outside the romantic city of Saarburg on a hill called the Hosteberg, in 430 m altitude. It faces the south with a stunning view over the valley. This is recreation pure!
There are 115 sq. m. on two levels for 4 to max. 5 persons available. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with a divan convertible for one or two persons. In addition, we have an extra single bed for a 5th person and a baby cot. This is rounded off by 2 bathrooms, one with a shower, one with a bathtub, each with washbasin and toilette. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher and washing machine with an integrated dryer, electric stove and a microwave. Dishes, cutlery, pots and pans are available in sufficient numbers.
The living room opens on to a large deck with a stunning view and garden furniture. Sat-TV (digital), DVD, radio, telephone and internet access for your own laptop is available. A fireplace in the living room keeps you comfortable in winter as well! You may also bring your small pets (dog or cat).

Description of the area:

Owing to the geographic position to France, Luxembourg and the Saarland, Saarburg offers numerous excursions, e. g. to Trier (Treves), Germany's oldest city, Luxembourg, France. Also combined bus/boat trips to Idar-Oberstein, to the Mosel and the Eifel region to historical sights. Saarburg itself is a charming little city with its famous waterfall, the ruins of the castel and the picturesque old part of town. The historic city of Saarburg is more than 1000 years old, and offers many attractions, a diversified gastronomy, and tasteful, pleasant wines.
